More Faux News Deception

As you might already know, Rep. Ron Paul won the CPAC straw poll for the second year in a row, naming him as the conservative’s favorite to run for president. Also for the second year in a row, Mitt Romney came in second place which made his supporters very unhappy. In any event, when Fox News introduced Ron Paul to talk about the win they prefaced it by playing the announcement from 2010 where Ron Paul’s name was booed by a room full of Romney supporters. Then they asked Paul about the booing, which Paul didn’t know anything about since a.) he wasn’t there, and b.) it didn’t happen. Very unprofessional and unethical. I’m certain that the host has deniability since he’s only commenting on what is played for him but the producers and video editors would have known what they were playing. A public apology needs to be made.
