In Context TV episode 3: The College Tuition Crisis

In this edition of our youtube series we wrap some of the information covered in our last show with Andrew Hacker. We discuss some of the information covered in his book “Higher Education?” and talk about the main symptoms and problems with our college’s price structures. Included in the discussion is the fact that tuition has increased far faster than wages, and when adjusted for inflation wages have decreased. Many coaches and presidents at major schools command million dollar salaries. And the availability of borrowed funds allow the tuitions to climb higher and higher.
