Podcast for guest appearance on The Emotion Roadmap

We were guests on the Chuck Wolffe’s program on WPKN The Emotion Roadmap. We discussed the emotional angle of elections and what people respond to in candidates. We talked primarily about Newt Gingrich and how he uses arrogance and an appeal to authority to convince voters of his wisdom. We talked about Mitt Romney and his utter lack of emotional appeal and we talked about Barrack Obama “empty vessel technique” which allows for supporters to pour their own hopes and dreams into him, thus projecting their ideal candidate. We spoke a little about Ron Paul, although the host didn’t want to. I expect that from the mainstream, but not community radio. Go figure.
